For more than three decades, Wayland Hockey Association has supported Wayland’s vibrant hockey community by organizing teams, events and fundraisers — all while promoting positive experiences for student-athletes in the sport.
The volunteer-run WHA acts as a booster club for the Wayland High School hockey teams. The high school girls program enjoys a longstanding co-op partnership with Weston High School and the high school boys launched its co-op with Watertown High School at the start of the 2022-2023 season.
At the middle school level, the WHA organizes the co-ed hockey team, providing Wayland’s youth players their first opportunity to call their schoolmates their teammates.
Wayland Hockey Association Corp. (EIN 04-3085773) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Donations to Wayland Hockey Association Corp. are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
Wayland Hockey Association annual events also include the Cochituate Cup, the Post Road Cup, and the WHA Golf Tournament, which serves as the organization’s largest fundraiser and is held in late September each year.
