GETTING STARTED
Boys
Wayland Middle School is the entry point for boys ice hockey. Most
boys will have had some prior club experience. Tryouts are at New England Sports Center in early November. We
hope to
field two teams for the Wayland Middle School Boys each year, depending upon the
numbers. See the Middle
School teams page.
Girls
Each winter, the Wayland Hockey Association and the Weston Skating Club join
forces to offer a Developmental Hockey program. New skaters are
encouraged to participate on Saturday and Sunday mornings at nearby Rivers
School rink in Weston. Girls are taught basics, and given the
opportunity to play on either a Development team or the Girls' Wayland/Weston
Middle School Team.
