PRESS RELEASE Eric Brown Appointed Head Hockey Coach at Wayland High Previously, Brown served as head hockey coach for the Fay School, and assistant coach at Concord Carlisle High School, where he was academic liaison for the team. Brown played professional hockey in the Western Hockey League for several years, including stints with the Jacksonville Bullets, Monroe Moccasins and Waco Wizards. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Massachusetts at Lowell, where he was a four year Division I scholarship player, earning numerous awards. “Eric is well known to the local hockey community,” remarked WHA President Spencer Ball. “Many of our student skaters are familiar with EB by way of his local clinics, camps and summer league involvements. Wayland welcomes the new coach.”
