The Massachusetts State Hockey Coaches Association’s executive board of directors recently named Nick Morgan the Division 3 Player of the Year. Wayland’s Captain finished his senior campaign with a career best 51 points in 23 games, scoring 25 goals and assisting on 26 others. The lanky sharp-shooter also became Wayland High’s all-time leader in points, finishing with a 131 points (76 goals, 55 assists) to top the former mark of 119 set by Wayland High Hall of Famer Mark Shepard.
Head coach Rian Murray was complimentary of Morgan: “He’s an awesome kid and deserves every accolade they’ve given him.
